| Dr. Faren Angella is assistant
director of electrophysiology at JFK medical center. Dr. Angella completed her pre-medical courses at Palm beach Community College and graduated with a Bachelors of science in chemistry from the University of Florida, Gainesville. Dr. Angella stayed at the University of Florida in Gainesville for medical school, internal medicine residency, cardiology fellowship and a fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology. Dr. Angella was one of the outstanding students throughout her training. She has earned numerous awards including Phi Beta Kappa, best resident in internal
medicine and outstanding cardiology fellow of the year. Dr. Angella has published numerous scientific articles in heart rhythm management.
She is loved by nearly all of her patients and medically has a particular
interest in cardiac resynchronization therapy for heart failure. Dr. Angella speaks fluent Persian and has been married to Dr. Guy J. Angella, an ophthalmologist, since 1995. Recently Dr. Angella gave birth to her first child, Joseph.
In her free time Dr. Angella enjoys travel, reading, and hiking. |
